If there’s one business tip you MUST remember, it’s this one. Serve first, sell second.
If there’s one mistake we see time and again, it’s businesses jumping to the sales part without taking the time to think about how they SERVE their market first.
Understanding this is essential because it will inform ALL your marketing, ALL your social media content, ALL your email marketing, and MORE.
You cannot sell sustainably if you aren’t focusing on how you help people, what problems you solve, and what solutions you provide.
If you’re stuck, here’s some questions to get you started…
- What problem does my product or service solve?
- How does having this problem make people feel?
- What solutions does my product or service provide people?
- How will people feel once they have this solution?
- Why is it important to people that they have this solution?
- What’s the impact of NOT having a solution?
Once you know these answers it becomes a lot easier to focus your messaging on THOSE points instead of just trying to get people to buy. This is crucial to increasing your sales!
